Entry Requirements

FETAC/QQI Level 5 Award or Equivalent in a related discipline, such as CAD, construction or furniture design. Equal consideration will be given to mature applicants (those aged over 23) who do not meet these entry requirements but can demonstrate industry experience.

Course Description

This is a follow-on course from any of the following FETAC/QQI level 5 courses available at Cavan Institute (or elsewhere), such as Architectural Technology and Design (Year 1), Sustainable Energy and Construction Technology, Interior Architecture or 3D Design and Graphics. It will enable students to gain advanced architectural technology and design skills. Students gain hands-on experience in the use of the latest technologies, including Autodesk Architectural Desktop and Graphisoft ArchiCAD.
